I recently joined The Cow Guy Close to talk about the steady decline in college enrollment. Some see this as a crisis. I see it as a sign that Americans are waking up.
Young people are making smarter choices—working in family businesses, learning a trade, or starting their own companies. This will not destroy the middle class. If anything, it will force universities to rethink how they operate and why students should even bother.
We’ve also got to address the cultural indoctrination that has discouraged family life. For years, young people have been told that every child is a “carbon footprint” and that the world is ending tomorrow. That’s wrong. Families are the backbone of our nation, and without them, there is no future.
I believe something good will come from these shifts. But it requires us to rethink how we approach families in America—and to push back against the lies that have undermined them for too long.
