I was on Cow Guy Close talking about the tragic death of Charles Kirk. Having been on panels with him, I can’t help but believe his murder was tied as much to his Christian values and faith as anything else. The positions he took that alienated the left weren’t rooted in anger or division – they came from his desire to preserve a traditional way of life and to stand firm in a biblical worldview. When he spoke on college campuses, he wasn’t just debating politics. He was telling students there’s a better way – that they don’t have to surrender to indoctrination. Charles’s voice may be gone, but I believe his message will continue to echo. His courage and convictions will keep impacting the world long after today.
