I was back on the Cow Guy Close show to discuss the Supreme Court striking down Louisiana’s congressional map over racial gerrymandering. The Court has been completely consistent on this: partisan gerrymandering is allowed, but racial gerrymandering violates the Constitution. This ruling rightfully stops a political power grab.
Beyond the maps, my biggest message to Republicans in Washington is simple: if you want to keep the House, stop just trying to hold onto power and start actually governing. You have to do something with the power the people entrusted you with, or you will lose it!
