Dr. Carol Swain on Falling Standards, Social Justice, and the Return of Ebonics

On my most recent Cow Guy Close feature, we discuss the alarming decline in our education system, where college freshmen now arrive with the reading and math skills of a 10-year-old. Instead of focusing on basic educational skills, schools are prioritizing social justice, personal pronouns, and over-reliance on technology. 
It is time to stop lowering standards in the name of diversity and return to a true meritocracy that holds every student accountable to the same high expectations.
